Skinning Tutorial
As some of you guys/gals may know, the Filefront website has been deleting some files automatically, and my tutorial went along with it. Some of you have been wanting this tutorial, but missed the chance to get it so I decided just to write one in this thread.

Alright, now that you have the neccesary programs for skinning, as stated in the first post, let's get started.
The first thing that you want to do when skinning trucks or trailers is to have the truck/trailer SCS file copied onto your desktop.
Since you already have Winzip, or Winrar you are able to open that SCS file.
Once you have it opened, go into the vehicle folder, then the truck folder, and the folder inside that one. That should take you to where there is a lot of files, they may look bad, but they are not a big deal.
When you do that, copy a file with .dds and the end.
(Example: paint01.dds) to the Desktop
Close the truck folders, and you should be back at your desktop.
Locate the .dds file and drag it onto the DXTbmp icon, it will automatically open up to what the skin looks like.
You should also have an editing software, Microsoft Word, or paint.net works great, but you can use others.
Click the "Send Image to Editor Button" on DXTBMP, and it should take you to your editing program.
DO NOT close the DXTBMP window, because you will need it after you are done editing.
After you have finished editing in your editor program, you need to go to file, and then SAVE.
Go back to DXTBMP, and click "RELOAD AFTER EDIT"
Your edited skin should appear on screen.
Now you need to save your skin. In DXTBMP go to FILE, SAVE AS, then you need to click DDS Texture.
Close DXT, then go back to your Desktop.
Right click the .dds file, and pack it into an scs file with the name "Skin01" or whatever you would like.
Copy the new SCS file, and paste it into your mod folder.
Go into the game, and select the truck or trailer. Scroll to the skin you replaced, and it should be there!
Have fun with your new creation!
